How to Upload Video on Instagram from a PC
You can now upload a video to Instagram from a PC, even if you don’t have a business account. These videos will be automatically uploaded as Reels and will be visible on your Instagram profile from the Posts tab, as well as the Reels tab.
Before you start uploading, remember that these videos need to adhere to the usual Instagram Reels standards, meaning they should have an aspect ratio between 1.91:1 and 9:16. Additionally, clips should have a minimum frame rate of 30fps and a minimum resolution of 720p.
To start your first video upload, open Instagram in your browser, and make sure you’re logged in with your account.
Press the + Create button on the left side of the display.

Press the Select from computer button, or simply drag your video(s) in the pop-up window.

Crop the clip if you wish, then press Next.

Select a cover for your video, and trim it a bit, if you would like. When you’re done, click Next.

Add a caption and location, if you wish. You can also add a collaborator to your post on Instagram. When you’re ready, hit the Share button, and Instagram will post the video.

You may have noticed that you don’t have access to all the editing tools for Reels in the Instagram app. However, since you’re uploading this video from a PC, you can use your preferred video-editing tool, such as VITA, to edit your video beforehand.
